Save the Date: The Friends of the Idaho Springs Public Library will be hosting their annual meeting on March 11, 2020 at 6 pm at the Idaho Springs Public Library. Dean Clark will present a program on local library and school history.
In 2019, we supported and organized the following activities:
- Annual Meeting Presentation by Don Allan and Dean Clark
- $1,000 contribution to the Clear Creek County Library District scholarship program
- $1,700 contribution towards the purchase of a virtual reality system
- Carlson Back-to-School Night free community picnic
- Birthday books for young patrons
- Book sale in Civic Park
- BOOkfest (books and treats for Halloween)
- Winterlude Concert (made possible by a grant from the Safeway/Albertsons Foundation)
