Clear Creek County Library District Scholarships

The Library District is pleased to announce our new scholarship program! In its inaugural year, scholarships were awarded to two library cardholders, one from the Idaho Springs Public Library and one from the John Tomay Memorial Library, in recognition of volunteer contributions and library patronage. After-School Homework Help

Students of all ages can get help with their homework from 3:30 – 5 pm on Wednesdays at the Idaho Springs Public Library. Volunteer tutors will be available to help with homework, reading, or other school activities.

High School Work Study

Do you have an interest in library work? Do you love to read? Do you enjoy helping others? Join our library team via the high school work-study program. Work study “interns” take on special projects and are able to learn more about what goes on “behind the scenes” at the library!

Volunteer at the Library

There’s always something fun going on at the library and we invite you to be a part of it! You can fulfill your volunteer requirements by helping with the Summer Reading Program and other special events, by serving on the Teen Advisory Board, organizing a book club or helping with general library work. Email Cameron at cameron@cccld.org for more information.
